Building and Facility Access
Recreational buildings and classroom and administration facilities are open for use according to the approximate schedule listed below. The schedule pertains to a normal work week during the regular academic year. Special events may alter the published schedule, and buildings are closed at approximately 4:30 p.m. when classes are not in session. University Police secure campus buildings after their posted closing times.

No exterior door keys other than for residence halls are issued to students. However, students are permitted to enter or remain in any building after the above hours if they have a building pass from the Campus Police Office. Any student needing to enter or remain in a building other than during its open hours should present a request (for a specific day and time) in writing, signed by the professor, to the Campus Police Office. Students may then be issued a building pass to be presented with their student ID to a Campus Police Officer, who will then accompany the student to gain access to the building. Campus Police may be contacted at 788-3333. Building passes are issued Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Building Occupancy and Access Procedures
Employees and students are expected to carry their university I.D.s with them at all times and to produce such identification to University Police Officers on request. Employees and students who cannot produce the requested identification may be denied access to, or required to vacate, any campus facility during the time when that facility is locked.
